Hi! Welcome to the About-Me page of the Web site, Homeschooling in Kuwait. This is the only section here that is solely focused on me. Glad there’s a section where I can make rants and flatter myself. :d

I’m Deese, an expat mom in Kuwait. I’ve been here for 6.7 8-9 years (with my hubby). On our 2nd year in Kuwait, we got pregnant — yay, I gave birth after 6 years in our marriage. It was just the perfect timing. Over two years later, I gave birth to my 2nd child. I have two daughters; one geeky husband. Just to make it clear. LOL…

I am a work-from-home-mom. I founded the work-at-home-mom career (WAHM Career) in KW. I’ve been working from home since 2004. I formally started working from home (full-time) in 2009. I ditched the corporate world after 10 years. It has been the best decision I’ve ever made in my life, career-wise.

I own (a) money-making Web site — uh-oh, sites!

I originally came from the Philippines.

I live in Kuwait by day. I live in the cyberspace at night. I live in the comfort of my books and ebooks, in between.

I’m a proud mom. A homeschooling mom in Kuwait since 2009.

I’m passionate about my children’s education.

We homeschool. Our home’s cool.

Let’s talk.

Deese since 2009

UPDATE: Oct. 17, 2013 To better equip myself as a homeschooling mom, I decided to enroll in the ff. courses:

  1. Child Psychology 101
  2. Early Childhood Development
  3. Building Children’s Reading Skills
  4. How to Teach Reading Fundamentals
  5. Basic Parenting 101

  1. Hi! I am also a filipina. I have a 3 year old daughter. i am planning to formally homeschool my daughter. Do you know if there is a group of homeschooling here in kuwait? It is really best that there will be homeschooling filipino groups here in kuwait since we all have one advocacy- to provide quality education for our children.
